sylviesturrock #theapexshow once I take the time and pay the money to get to comply who and when will check a) I’ve done it and b) it’s correct VerifiableCPD Everyone thinks this is their job, from PCTs/HBs to the new care Quality Commission, VT or anyone else like H&S etc, etc. #theapexshow dentinaltubules #theapexshow @VerifiableCPD with a strain and possible decrease in govt funding, how will this affect dental healthcare VerifiableCPD I agree, funding is a MAJOR issue, Election around the corner and the REAL budget to be announced which simply = more CUTS!! #theapexshow dentinaltubules @VerifiableCPD #theapexshow so many bosses? In which case whose responsibility will it be to ensure practices are HTM01-05 compliant? VerifiableCPD Both external agencies mentioned plus yourself – you have to keep records, tests (daily/weekly/quarterly) for at least 2 years! #theapexshow
mkritzinger Round 5: @VerifiableCPD What will it cost the average practice to become HTM01-05 compliant? #theapexshow VerifiableCPD Costs as promised; 1-2 dentist practice = approx £25,000, 3-6 dentist practice =£50,000+ depending on structural changes. #theapexshow

VerifiableCPD Basically Dentists have to fund themselves – Funding was available to some NHS Practices from some PCTs for some costs… #theapexshow
